Below are pictures of a 1962 Toyota FJ40 LandCruiser Street Rod that we started working on about a year ago. After aquiring this FJ body, we dropped it down onto a 1982 Chevy S-10 frame that we'd previously Body-Dropped 4" all around and dropped a Chevy 305/350 Turbo Tranny into. After fitting the Body and Engine together, We extended the bed-part of the Truck 30 inches to accomodate for the length of the Frame, and we chopped the windsheild and rollbar 4" to give it the "Pro-Touring" look. We also made the whole front end Tilt Forward to open, and it's all steel. It sports Dual Side-Exit exhaust, and seats out of a 1993 GMC. The bed is all diamond plate, and the rear bumper features Custom Chevy-Logo Taillights. We added a Camaro Shifter and a Custom Gauge Cluster, and all-weather black carpet. We built this truck to the specifications and ordered all parts through JT Outfitters, a qualified and respected Land Cruiser Shop/Parts Distributor located near us, right outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. If interested, Make sure to email me, J. Anderson, at Black70Stang@yahoo.com for more information.

NOTE: We've noticed the site has been getting some negative press from avid Landcruiser enthusiasts: Please realize that this Cruiser body was a rotting drag car left in a field. Had we not touched it, it would still be there today. We appreicate and enjoy the sport of wheeling, and have other 'Cruisers that we do that in. We appreciate the attention on the different forums/sites, and we hope it continues. This vehicle is still for sale. Feel free to email me, the owner, with any questions you may have. I'll be periodically visiting forums and answering questions about this 'Cruiser - email me with any suggestions of sites to visit. Thanks!
